There are some artists whose imperfect voices make it difficult for some to recognize their musical genius. Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen are a couple of examples. I understand that. In the beginning I thought Adam was a whiney pop star. I came to realize he's a talented songwriter and stylist, and the band is pretty tight. These are not his best lyrics, but it's still a fun song.
I'm a David Gray fan. I'd like to hear his music played more here on RP. He did get too much commercial play for a while there, but that doesn't take away from his incredible talent. I'll give this one a 9.
You can play Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac any time. Santana's cover is great, but the original Black Magic Woman puts up a helluva fight. Those kids were playin' some killer blues.
Thanks for pulling this one out. I don't think you've played it in a while. It's not my favorite David Gray song, but it's David Gray, and he's one of my favorites.
That other fella back there is a young Buddy Guy. You may have heard of him.
Thanks, I needed that.
I ordered the cd after hearing this version here of a song that meant so much to me years ago. I wasn't disappointed.
Love it.
Thanks!
I did not know this was in the RP library. I wonder if it was played the 3rd of last month.
Brings back memories.
Thank you.
Funny, I thought about submitting this song the other day. Maybe it was already here. I don't remember hearing it.
RP worthy.......
Probably it is but not how I grew up knowing them and seeing them in concert
There are plenty who believe the band you saw was not Fleetwood Mac.
So it gets played but I notice one song too late.
