I don’t understand RP listeners. Happy to soak up hours of pretentious, same style, I’m a poor working lad, drivel from the likes of Mark Knofler but all the comments about Natalie Merchant seem to concentrate on her tits.
Bad news people; tits don’t sing, don’t write and the milk don’t taste that good.
Natalie Merchant on the other hand can write excellent music, produce innovative and interesting albums.
This is excellent. I wondered why the rating was so low but on reflection i dont suppose this is going to get the redneck vote, beautifull music or not
Two exceptional tracks on this album and this is one; the other is his version of Run On. It seems Moby is going to be one of those artists at the mercy of music fashion unfortunately. Despite that this was an exceptional album at its release.
Don’t let the ratings get you down Bill, it is a lot of fun.
I’m not sure I would buy it but I’m happy to listen to it and it’s great that you chuck a few oddballs into the mix from time to time. It’s why I listen ;)

Seriously grim this lot. Something about the guys voice, not to mention the lyrics means I just can't listen to this.
Oh please Nick. You’ve done some great stuff but you’re not even in tune on this one mate and you’re dropping notes.
I still give it 9 :)
One day someone will explain to me why this guy gets to be the cream of reggae.
Okay, he has written a couple of decent tunes.
Nobody in their right mind could call him a great singer.
I rather suspect it’s an “okay for white consumption” thing; the dumbing down of protest reggae for popular consumption.
Music doesn’t get much more middle of road than this but I suppose middle of the road is where the money is.
What a shame that Bob Marley has become the representative of a great music genre.
Okay, I’ll admit it, I was surprised.
