Susan Tedeschi (; born November 9, 1970) is an American singer and guitarist. A multiple Grammy Award nominee, she is a member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, a conglomeration of her band, her husband Derek Trucks’ band, and other musicians.

This one makes me cry.  Superb cover.
Love Susan, grew up with her family in and around Boston.  Ironically we ended up at the same music school (Berklee).  She graduated, I did not.  Life lesson learned ;-}

She is really awesome with the Tedeschi Trucks Band, a band formed with her husband, Derek Trucks.

She can play a pretty mean guitar too...

I love Susan's voice.  It reminds me of Bonnie's.  It's a pretty good cover. As someone said, "Her singing on this sounds effortless", and there's the rub.  It's missing that added "dimension" that only Dylan gives his songs.

I'll agree with you in sentiment, as a cover of a breakup song this one seems to completely miss the mark.  On the other hand, this is a good example of what a 'good' singing voice can do to a song that shouldn't be 'pretty' - so there's that too.  I'll go with a 4 rating on this one....Long Live RP and all the decisions BnR make on what to play!!

There is nothing wrong with this cover in my book. The first time I heard it, I bought the CD. I bet even Bob would say he liked it, if you could ever get a straight answer out of him.

I saw her on Austin City Limits and she can REALLY sing. I've always wondered why she doesn't have more exposure. She does remind me a little of Bonnie Raitt. Maybe she just needs to find her own true voice/style but I think she has some talent to share with the world. Nice to hear! Thanks RP!
