Love this song. it took me a long time to find it online 2 or 3 years ago when I first heard it (as a demo or live performance on local Seattle indie station?). It's been on my playlists ever since.

heh, the easy route? Look at the deformation of the petals and leaves due to the heat from the fire ... it would be a lot easier just to light a bouquet on fire.

I think Erik Satie was probably deceased by the time this album was recorded; at the least, he was no longer doing session work..

Actually, it does sound like there are some extended minor chords or something in this tune that has that "Satie" sound.
