Seriously doubt this CD came out in 1787, pretty sure they were still using 8 Track back then.

I'm sure it's been clarified in the numerous comments below, but this is pre-solo fame Paula Cole singing backup. She performed on the "Secret World Live" tour which also had a concert film of the same name released along with this album. Sinead O'Connor performed on the original recording off the album "Us".

<3 PG, his albums are the soundtrack to my childhood, adolescence and post-adolescent angst filled days. The effect of his music on me will never wane. Unlike sooo, sooo much other stuff I have loved and forgotten about.

interesting song, the cello is a nice touch! Bravo RP!

Don't think I've ever heard a cello and thought "that cello so shouldn't be in there".

Cellos rock.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time now I've heard a track off this album and tabbed back to RP to see who it was. I remember the cover, but am always surprised when I realize it's her and this album again. I really dig this Norah Jones.

anyone see what I mean when i say "lots of baby-voiced women singers?" I like her, but this is what I mean.

Yes. 5 years ago true, still true today. Some it's just natural, other it's way over the top. Some it's all they can do... *cough* Gwen *cough*...

There's a 9 year gap in the comments below. Came back around to it did ya Bill? Or was it Rebecca? Good call whoever it was. {#Clap}

I like the other things RP plays from them, but this is so plodding and flat. I much prefer the original.

Yup. I'm a connoisseur of covers and love First Aid Kit, but this one just leaves me wanting to hear the original again.

Xylophone it to me, baby! Mmmm... so yummy this track is.

That logo on the cover is sooooooo late 90s/early aughts. This track on the other hand  transcends its time and is still good.

You've apparently never seen her live. She literally dry humps her piano bench throughout most songs. Or at least she used to back in the 90s.

I hear a big influence from The Monkees in this one. {#Iamwithstupid}

Into the Wild (2007)

Directed by Sean Penn
Original Soundtrack by Eddie Vedder

I haven't seen "Wild" yet, but thought I'd throw this out there for you folks who haven't seen it. It's pretty fucking good.
