I've got nothing against Lady GaGa, she's got her place. But you're hurting me over here. I know this song will bring love or hate, and I'm sorry to be on the side of PLEASE NO!
I don't quite understand how/why you would think he's hitting lows.
I could see why one might be opposed to some of his strong views / messages, but as a musician / activist you have to admire that he's doing what he want's and saying what he feels. And he's popular because those views obviously ring with some people.

You know, I am actually impressed. He just keeps finding ways to hit new lows.
I like to hear covers that change up a song like this. I figure that if a cover sounds just like the original, why not listen to the original?
This makes you re-think the song. Really listen to those lyrics and contemplate what those pumpkin smashers were feeling, dare I say it, even more than the original, because changing the style can change your perception.
Thumbs Up
boring, middle-of-the-road protest song - lead a protest, don't just talk about it
Yawn
If you spend some time looking at what he actually does instead of assuming he's just hanging out in a studio booth you'd change that tune.
I don't know of many musicians who spend their time IN Iraq with the soldiers he's dedicated this album to
I know Queen is a love or hate type of band (obvious by the comments here).
I'm leaning toward the positive side, but what I wanted to comment on was how RP manages to play just the right amount. This song can suck if you heard it recently, but somehow it rocks if it's been a while!
Ahhh, apocalyptica. I love their uniqueness, even with covers.
It's just another way RP shakes stuff up, it's called eclectic people, that means theres going to be different types of music, not just what is good in one persons little world.
