One of my rare 10. This song makes me pause and sit and listen. It reminds me of my love. My life and how little time I have left to make an impact.
That the universe/world owes you nothing. And all of the things I worry about. Things I chase. Will be irrelevant on that day when I climb that tree just to see the world knowing it is my last day.

I did not know this comment would get so many Likes - but as I listen to this song again today .... my comment still holds true. Lovely.

This is one of the many songs RP plays that grab me and make me sit and listen.  To think about the world once I am gone. To think about the shortness of my life.  And even tho this is true and you could arrive at "what does it all really mean" ... you hear the captain say .... "Activate your force-fields and just keep going" ...

No matter how bad life is or challenging or fleeting it can feel - you only real choice is to wait for the coming of the morning and keep going.

Powerful song.

This song and album was amazing. I saw her in Austin Texas for this tour. It was a small venue .. night club type of place.. maybe 200 people? It was that night .. that I realized how amazing of a song writer she was. It was so precise and on point. No jam band style .. just clear on point music. Her voice draws you in and her backing musicians were so talented and disciplined in their style.
