I like hearing this just because I know it causes intense pain to the Radiohead fans. =P~
Not ALL Radiohead fans. Some of us actually have open-minded, ecclectic tastes.

So much like George's original, why play it? I mean, I love Dave and the work he did in the early days of the Stray Cats, but I have this thing about bringing something new to a song or not covering it.

This is the first time I've heard these guys on RP. Great band, Bill. You can play more; it's alright with me.

"No, Communism was a red herring." (This song always make me think of Clue)

I like these guys every time I hear them on RP. Can anyone suggest an album to start off with to someone who has never purchased any Jayhawks material?
I'd probably start off with Tomorrow the Green Grass or Smile. Really I don't think they've released a bad one. Hollywood Town Hall was my first. It's good too. OK, this isn't helping you. I'd say Tomorrow the Green Grass, just so you can get the full Gary Louris / Mark Olson effect. Mark left the band after that album, married Victoria Williams and started the Creekdippers.

First, Bjork actually recommended Emiliana for the track "Golem's Song" in what I believe was the second LOTR movie as she was pregnant and couldn't do it herself. Second, this is a pretty good album, with Roland Orzabal producing and writing some of the tracks. One of the better albums I've picked up in the last year or so.

I LOVE Maria McKee! "You Gotta Sin to Get Saved" is one of my favorite album. Good to hear some Lone Justice here.

My second time through this song on RP, and I'm thinking I need to pick Reality up.

Dubbed one of the greatest guitarists in the World.RIP Danny. Thanks, Bill.
I believe it was Guitar Player Magazine who said of Danny "This guy is not the next Clapton, he's the next Les Paul." I'm a huge fan of his, and I gotta agree. Too bad that usually only guitarists know his name.

The album this is on is "The Indescribable Wow" not the Incredible Wow.

Probably my favorite cut off this album. This song ROCKS!

I know many of you don't like Fleming's vocals, but I do. I love this stuff. Fun, weird, intentionally over the top - it's kinda like Vegas.

It kinda loses something when heard without the intro. Like Livin' Lovin' Maid without Whole Lotta Love. Or Road to Hell pt.2 without Road to Hell pt.1 by Chris Rea.

Lori Carson just does it for me.

This sounds like something Vyvyan would kick the crap out of Neil for listening to.
THAT is FUNNY! (though I do like the song)

All's I know is, South of I-10 is one of the most innovative slide guitar showcases I've ever heard and a great album to boot. I should give this album a listen. Hiatt is lucky to have him.

Rudy Toombs penned this back in the 50's.  I've always loved this song and hoped he was my kin.  Blasters do a great job with it, though.

Any V-Roys on here?  There really should be some V-Roys on here.
